Chewie
Chewie and I took a visit to the Vet today to see about a growth on his chin that looks like a Fruity Pebble stuck in his fur. Doc said its probably nothing to worry about, and might even go away on its own. Got him some shots while we were there, and got lectured about getting his eyes fixed. Looks like thats gonna cost about $1000. yay. Might have to start the “Donate to Chewie’s Eye” fund. Blah. What’s wrong with his eyes, you ask? Well he has this condition where his eyelids roll up under themselves and irritate his eyeballs. Most uncomfortable I’d imagine. So they do a procedure where they cut them back and he has to wear the ever-so-embarassing cone for two weeks. Poor guy. Doc also said it looks like he has some kinda elbow deformity that he was born with, where he stands kinda pigeon-toed. So now he needs to be on glucosomine twice a day forever to try and prevent arthritis problems. Luckily thats just a vitamin I can get at any store.
It was long walk back and forth in the 100+ degree heat today, and the little guy’s all tuckered out. So is Chewie.
