Pancakes and Pirates
Its been raining for like 40 days and 40 nights here. Luckily living in the Mile High city has its advantages. Not much flooding. Good thing too, my ark is no where near finished. I may have to settle for taping intertubes on my scooter.
So Friday night was a night I got out of work early, hit up the Rio at about 5pm. Did the usual dinner and drinks. Almost got dragged to the First Friday Art Walk, but due to the nonstop rain, we decide “HEY, lets go bowling!” oy oy oy. Finished up the evening at the Red Room.
Saturday got up early (9ish?) met up with Dr. Jones and Sarah for pancakes at “Hot Cakes.” Followed up by Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Great flick. Better than the first, in my opinion. The movie was nearly three hours long, but didn’t feel like it. Non stop action. Good stuff. Pirates are better than Ninjas. I just wanted to let you know that.
Sunday…the usual. Laundry, watchin’ tv, probably eat some ice cream and take a nap. Rock ‘n’ roll, bitches.
